Academy 48 is more than a sports leadership academy. We are a movement that is redefining the purpose of youth sports. We believe that youth sports are essential to the development of our future. This is why we are building new pathways and programs, and partnering with organizations that share our passion for youth athletes. We are redefining student-athlete education and development, allowing them to chase their dreams.
Redefining the Student-Athlete’s Day
Academy 48 is the only tuition-free Sports Leadership Academy in Arizona. We combine teacher-led academics, our nationally recognized “Beyond The Game” leadership curriculum, elite-level training, and middle/high school teams to prepare our student-athletes for what’s next.
The Daily Grind
A Day In The Life
Every day is dedicated to unlocking student-athletes’ potential both on and off the field. While no two days are identical, we maintain a consistent schedule designed to build confidence and foster growth.
9:00 – 9:30 AM
Daily motivation and student body standup.
9:30 – 12:00 PM
Academic block or athletic training block.
12:00 – 12:30 PM
Healthy lunch with team bonding time.
12:30 – 2:30 PM
Second academic or athletic training block.
2:30 PM
Release and pickup.
Sports Leadership Academy
Our Student Body
Every athlete should be eligible to participate in school sports. We support both full-time and part-time students.
Academy 48 is the only tuition-free sports and leadership academy in Arizona. Full-time students are educated and trained throughout the day, giving families flexibility throughout the week.
Academy 48 has built multiple sports programs, including baseball and soccer, as well as school-based teams through CAA, to help homeschool families participate in and compete at high levels in athletics.

Redefining Youth Sports
There is a very strong, growing narrative that youth sports are broken.
We have World Cup soccer players openly saying pay-to-play is hurting our youth athletes. We have a culture that puts more emphasis on winning meaningless trophies than teaching real-world lessons. We have a system that only develops the players that can afford it.
We are done talking about potential solutions. We are doing something about it.
