We know the day-to-day environment makes the difference. Academy 48 provides every student with a positive, encouraging environment designed to help them succeed. We do not accept negativity or bullying from students or parents, and we vet every family before accepting their application.
Academics
Our on-site program provides student-athletes access to world-class teachers and an NCAA-approved core curriculum. Our academic program offers a flexible alternative to traditional schooling, allowing student-athletes to succeed on and off the field.
Character Development
We strongly believe that athletes should be leaders now and, more importantly, when their athletic journey ends. Our staff believes athletics is the ultimate classroom for real-world lessons. Every day, our student-athletes are taught what it takes to succeed.
College Recruitment
As our student-athletes enter the college recruiting phase of their journey, we work closely with each student-athlete to identify opportunities that align with their college athletic goals. Our goal is simple: to help every student-athlete find their next opportunity to compete, whether that means playing at JUCO, NAIA, D3, D2, or even D1 programs.

School & Training Calendar
Our goal is to provide student-athletes with the greatest possible flexibility. This is why we’ve implemented a year-round calendar designed to pursue academic and athletic success.
To provide student-athletes with the greatest possible flexibility, our academic calendar operates on a year-round schedule. Rather than scattering days off throughout the summer, we prioritize extended breaks during Christmas, spring break, and other major holidays.
We reject the pressure for young athletes to specialize prematurely, focusing instead on foundational skills that transcend any single sport. Our year-round training cultivates versatile athletes, ready to excel in any arena—today and in their future pursuits.
A Day in the Life
Every day is dedicated to unlocking student-athletes’ potential and maximizing productivity. While no two days are identical, we maintain a consistent schedule designed to build confidence and foster growth.
Daily Schedule:
- 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Morning check-in
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 AM: Core academic classes supported by expert educators
- 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Healthy lunch with team bonding time
- 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Specialized athletic training tailored to each athlete’s sport and goals.
- 3:00 PM: Release
*Afterschool programs available for students needing additional academic support.
Every age has a slightly different schedule to ensure that we are able to utilize our space in the best possible way.

- Training times may adjust based on facility availability.
- Soccer will practice offsite with transportation provided to and from Rio Vista Park.

Tuition-Free Athletic Academy
Founded to provide families with an affordable alternative to traditional education and costly travel/club sports, Academy 48 supports student-athletes through accessible funding solutions. While monthly tuition applies, we partner with families to secure financial assistance — 100% of tuition is typically covered by the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) for eligible students.
Cost Structure
- Tuition: $6500 per year
- Registration Fee: $250 (one-time payment)
Financial Support & Fundraising
We host annual fundraisers to offset expenses such as Team uniforms, Travel costs, and Tournament fees. This ensures families focus on growth, not financial burdens.

Academy 48 began by helping homeschool students stay active and enjoy outdoor activities. Today, we offer ESA-approved programs tailored to meet the needs of homeschooled athletes and parents.
Homeschool Baseball
Our homeschool baseball program offers daytime training sessions designed to help student-athletes master the skills needed to excel on the field. Perfect for balancing athletics and academics, we focus on fundamentals, strategy, and competitive readiness.
Homeschool P.E.
Our Homeschool P.E. program introduces students to a variety of sports in a fun, engaging environment. Designed to keep young athletes active and excited about fitness, it’s the perfect way to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement.
