NCAA-Approved Academics Built for Athletes

We believe that education is the key to your success. However, this year it has become clear that many parents believe sports are a replacement for education, not an extension of it. They believe that if their student-athlete can go D1, they will be set. If they could only get drafted, the family timeline would change.

This is becoming an issue as more sports clubs build educational platforms. We can’t build these private “schools” run by sports clubs, charge $30k a year, and place 100% emphasis on sports.

We believe that sports are part of the educational process, not a replacement for it. Our belief is that sports are the best way to hold players accountable, teach lessons not in the textbooks, and build an environment that supports one another.

Our founder has 2 Master’s Degrees, an MBA, and an M.S. in Leadership. His belief is that these pieces of paper have opened doors, but it was sports that helped him succeed once the door was opened. The combination of academics and life lessons from sports is the winning combination.

We know that sports are the best classroom, if done the right way. Our academic program was built to use sports as the delivery mechanism for world-class education. Not the other way around.

Academy 48 is the only tuition-free sports academy in Arizona. Our approach is to use sports and our teams to deliver “Beyond The Classroom” education that many school and club teams are missing. We know that academics and athletics combine to build an educational system that prepares student-athletes for life after sports.

Academic mentors and coaches ensure all student-athletes stay on track. They’re available during school hours and often after hours, providing personalized guidance to master every subject.

College & Career Readiness

Our goal is to prepare students to win today and tomorrow. We partner with local community colleges to help athletes earn college credits, and our staff guides them through every step of the college placement process, from identifying schools to securing scholarships.

For competitive athletes, we mentor families through the recruitment process, helping eligible students find a home to keep playing the sport they love.
